The Mighty Magic Pants’ newest family album, IT MUST BE CHRISTMAS, has been nine years in the making. And worth the wait!
Mike Mennard, the Pants’ resident poet, has dreamed of just such an album for as long as he can remember. He says, “I always wanted to do a Christmas project. Then in 2006, I started. But nothing worked. That is, until the Mighty Magic Pants made it happen!”
Started in 2012, The Mighty Magic Pants is five performers with real families making real music for real families. And yep, they’ve got kids—11 of them total!

The group released a video on YouTube for the album’s release, “Rudolph on the Barbecue,” a fun sequel to the classic “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.”
