In my four months with the Mighty Magic Pants, it has been a blur of learning new music on the fly while performing a variety of shows. While working to build chemistry with my new bandmates, sometimes it was all we could to choreograph some kid-friendly motions with our songs.
But as we prepared to release our Christmas album, we wanted to get back to a full-on show that combined music, poetry and story into a hilarious experience for young and old.
Many of our songs already tell a story and beg for props, but boy, putting it all together is a lot of work! Thankfully, a Hollywood-trained, theater-major friend came to our rescue.
Oh yeah, and he’s our pastor. That's right, our pastor! Brett Hadley is the new pastor of the New Creation Community Adventist Church and we think he’s pretty awesome. His expertise has turned our holiday crooning into an honest-to-goodness Christmas show.
